We bought in April in Carine and our house has gone up an unrealistic $100K. Feel free to mail to ask questions about Perth or any aspect of settling in. I'm a South African who emigrated here last year - after living in Sydney then Perth on a temp visa for 5 years. Sold our house in SA last year ( an empty shell... ) , via email, which felt strange but worked well, and I'm sure if I could do that from Perth->SA , you can easily finish your house sale in the UK from Perth too. Good luck on your trip, hopefully it is uneventful and you'll find settling into Perth easy.
