Well I made the decision to put off buyign a house for a few years, and unfortunately, I saw the market double in price!!! I live in the ACT, and I sadly watched smallish 1 bedroom units go from round $120,000 to $250,000. And in the ACT, you don’t even own the land! You have to lease it from the ACT Government…

The only way you’ll get a large bit of land for a reasonable amount is to buy either in some remote town in the middle of nowhere, or buy in a dodgy neighbourhood.
