Anyone have news about catagory 6 processing plz share. catagory 5 applicants are getting there visa stamp fastly.:loser

we both r from same subclass, why didnt u trace ur application so far, call:callMe immigration directly and ask them, u should get CO b4 2009. did u submit pcc and medical with ur appication ? i call them atleast twice in a month, just to check status of my application. I have even heard they sometime missplace documents.

moi using agent and they saying no news till next year
still await CO and job verification . NO pcc, no meds.
wat does immigration tell u abt status when u call them up ?!?!

i call them on this monday the enquiry officer receive all the calls i have been told that my application is in progress, but i am confused lenny because my case officer has been located in sep2008. when priorty processing started in 16 march then my application was near to finalize, then i receive letter from my co that ur application cant be finalized in 2008/2009 year. but now my co is the th same. i dont know it should be change if processing start agian. or database has been showing old information

the enquiry officers doent have information about cat 5 and cat 6 processing, she told me that "i dont have any idea about that". what she told me was appearing on the database infront of her. but she mentioned that minister choose few application that is under process, but i that i know those ones r cat 5.:whatisit , i will contact them again in the mid of this month, see if any new thing come up.

HI Dear,

Thanks for the advice. I want to tell you that there are few lucky aug 2007 people who got the CO. Whoever applied before 8th aug 2007 got the co and after that no one got the CO yet, ruling also changed a lot as you already aware of. I applied thourgh an agent and we are in touch with immigration dept., so far no good news till date.

Leo how did u know that DIAC choose applcants who are b4 8th august 2007. there was no official news so far appear anywhere. did u have any source from where u get that news. It doesnt make sense they are choosing few(so less) application in family sponsor, as quota for this year is 12300 that is more then SS catagory applications 11200 for current financial year. even though DIAC choose 3500 SS to be completed till june.

I dont think so DIAC receive csl +faimly sponsor much from june to so far. They should process more , our prays will trun things soon,

did u place any enquiry trough immigration website regarding to ur application?

Before priority system, If you remember the old method of checking the application, they recived the application and checked it in lodgement order, according to that the last mail which we recive from ASPC is showing 8th aug 2007, So according to that I stated my quote.

And for the latest news we are here and waiting for the same. And so far DIAC is concern I cannot lodge an enquiry becasue I applied thourgh an agent if I do so I will be answred that "since I applied thourgh an agent so we cannot reveal any information to you please contact your agent."

So this is it. I think this info clear you doubts.
