Thanks for that Oldbill. I'll check out Wunderlust's thread, re the
commute and look up the Translink website for timings/costs etc.

You are looking to be kept busy Oldbill!! Do you have any info on a
place called Regency Downs, apparently 57kms direct line from Brissie,
cannot find it on either the map or on site!

If you find Toowoomba on a map, and follow it across to Ipswich along
the Warrego Hwy, Regency Downs should be about half way in between.

I think the original query was about REGENTS PARK (between Browns Plains
and Greenbank approx 23km south west of Brisbane) and not Regency Downs
(a similar sounding name)? I have not quite worked out how to find the
original original message when replying to a reply so my apologies if I
    am incorrect.

Whichever message you want to reply to, just click 'reply' on that box.
It will bring up the question you're answering that way. Failing that,
just write who you're directing it to

    ie:

ViVi - here is your answer, blah blah blah

My sincere apologies to mlbonner and the original query. I have egg on
my face because I didn't follow the thread correctly and then found I
was the one who had confused an earlier query about Regents Park with
Regency Downs. Mentioning that I was a novice is now superfluous.

LOL, I wouldn't worry about it, the forum can take a while to get used
to, couple more posts and you'll be up there with the best of 'em
