wow. Tough one. Everyone has such personal views.

Mine are (and no flaming me if you don't agree - everyone please)

They all have great beaches. For hair dressers, I would guess the work
market is pretty similar in all states.

Brisbane: Hot but humid. If you or your kids don't like humidity, then
it may not be for you. Probably the busiest of the 3.

Adelaide: Not done much research on Adelaide. The smallest of the 3
cities I think. Very "churchy" is how it has been described to me. I've
also been told that for some strange reason, this is where most of the
murderers seem to come from. (No idea if this is true or not - just
repeating what I was told by an Aussie). I think it is smaller than the
    other 2 cities.

Perth: Very hot in the summer, but cooling breeze in the afternoon. Very
remote, but so what? It just means that it has everything you need in
the one place. The most laid back I think (although it may be on a par
    with Adelaide).

There are so many things to consider though, so there is only one person
that can make that decision, and that's you. Quality of life, cost of
living, prospects for the kids as they get older. Travelling distances
to kids clubs etc, as the kids get older... the list goes on.

Last month I decided on Perth over Sydney, which were my two choices. It
took me several months to come to that decision though.

    Good luck with your choice.

I've done a lot of research on Adelaide as we were originally going
    STNI to SA.

It seems like a great place, lots of green, things to do, nice beaches,
the usual BUT we were concerned with the fact that you've got Adelaide
and that's pretty much it..... Also we were concerned job prospects may
not be as good there as elsewhere.

When we heard we could go 136 we decided it would be either Brisbane or
WA, but then decided Brisbane too humid so WA it was. Since doing
research on WA really feel it has more to offer us, there are several
cities in the state rather than just one and just felt "right" for us.
