    Barny - you might have more luck with responses for this in the
    general lifestyle forum? Also you can do a search and it'll bring up
    info for you too.

    We're not taking pets but it's gotta be £1000 at least I'd guess at -
    we got quote for 1 dog and it was £2000 plus vet fees.

    Need to start planning 6 mths before you go to get right injections etc
    done. The cost isn't prohibitive to all but it is for us.

    I got quotes of around £1200 for my 2 cats, thats just the crate and
    flights, the quarentine is extra, theyve got to do 30 days once they
    land, for cats its quite simple as they just need to be upto date with
    their jabs and have a microchip..also a vets certificate etc which air
    transport people sort!

    I have heard of the friend of mine who paid €1400 for a dog - as far as I remember.
