I'll be the first for February. Application submitted 3 Feb 2010 for 176 (Victoria). Accountant on CSL. Here goes again.

Want to share/give update if theres any improvement rgarding on my plan for 176skilled family sponsored:

August 24, 2009 - CDR and other docments recevied in EA
December 2009 - received a letter from EA asking additional docments
Jan.27, 2010 - send to EA the additional documents

Hey Everyone!!

Just wanted to let you all know we made our application for a prospective marriage visa!! Febuary 11th, we are applying from New Zealand. Just so happy to have collected all the info needed.....turns out to be a fair amount of paper work in the end.....
Will let you all know of the process from here on out!

Mitch, I think you need to post this in the appropriate 2009 thread, this one is for February applicants and by the look of your timeline you applied well before then?

Positive Skills Assessment (CSL - Computing professional NEC) on 28-Jan-10
Applied online for 175 visa online on 6-Feb-10
entered the waiting game -- also confused with recent announcements on removal of MODL - as a result removal of CSLfor IT professional.

Question - 1. if I get state sponsership, how long does it take to change from 175 to 176 application?
2. I am in Australia on 457 work visa, am I now eligible for Medicare for interim card? Spoke to Medicare office, they will not listen to me until I show them bridging visa - which I will never get as its offshore category.

what do you mean by time line lucky?
As posted I have only just made the application on the 11th of Feb and 2 weeks later received a letter about our case officer...
I am open to share a time line if I had one which was more indepth...hehehe
