Re: NOIM for marriage in Thailand, Prospective Marriage?? If you are getting married, surely a Prospective Marriage Visa would be the wrong visa? Or are you intending for your fiance to move here on the PM visa, then you both return to Thailand to marry, then you come back here after the wedding? Just trying to clarify the situation.

Re: NOIM for marriage in Thailand, Prospective Marriage?? If you intend to get married in Thailand then you will need the Thai equivalent of a NOIM in a format that's acceptable to DIAC.
Your fiancée will have to come to Australia first on her prospective marriage visa, then go back to Thailand to get married.
It might be easier to get married in Australia first in a simple civil ceremony, then do the big (religious/family) one in Thailand.
If you get married before the prospective marriage visa is granted you'll have to apply spouse visa instead.
