Default Contradiction on Resume length for Victoria sponsorship

    Hi,
First post. I am looking for state sponsorship (Victoria) but on the Live in Victoria site they state that a detailed CV shoudl be submitted that shoudl be 3-4 pages long, however the sample chronological CV they provide states that it should be no longer than 2 pages long. Does anyone know which is correct?

Also, although it doesn't ask for it, I would normally provide a cover letter with my CV. Has anyone else that successfully obtained sponsorship provided a cover letter.

My background is in IT (Java development) so looking to apply under the ANZSCO code 261312 - Developer Programmer
    Any advice appreciated
    Roy

I am not an agent, so obviously i dont know exactly.
BUT, i dont think the length of the CV being 2 pages or 3, would be a critical consideration for them when reviewing your application. The important thing is, you tell them clearly who and what you are professionally, without unnecessary details. E.g. list your qualifications, but no need for it to have all the subject details etc.
Cover letter? I think, a cover letter always looks good. If it is not a requirement, then its up to you to. If you like cover letters, make one ... if not, then leave it
